We all know how hard it is to raise money as an NGO or a Social Enterprise in India. While the Government seems to be publicising a lot of schemes, how does one even get to apply to them? No clear procedure is outlined and e-mails to officials always go unanswered.
In such a scenario, it is best to start with the huge range of alternative sources available to fund your project or venture. Whether it be impact investing funds, foundations or fellowships - the options are immense. It is recommended that as a relatively new entity, you should build legitimacy using these options, create a trail of impact and then approach the Government for funds and partnerships.
With this intention, Govtify presents to you "Govtify Recommends" a feature which will keep you updated on the most beneficial funding and support opportunities in India and abroad. The following is our first compilation. Now lack of resources will never be an excuse for you!
